The Lotto Dstny cycling team had a fantastic weekend with some impressive performances in two of the most beautiful races in Bretagne. The team secured a victory with Arnaud De Lie in GP Du Morbihan and a second-place finish in Tro-Bro Léon. The team’s development squad also managed to secure a win in the Paris–Roubaix for u23 with Tijl De Decker.
The GP Du Morbihan is one of the most prestigious one-day races in France, held in the stunning Morbihan region of Brittany. The Lotto Dstny team put in a great team effort to help Arnaud De Lie secure a well-deserved victory. De Lie demonstrated his strength and skill with a powerful sprint, crossing the finish line, holding off the competition and finishing first. It was a memorable win for the team, adding another victory for De Lie this season.
The Lotto Dstny rider had nothing but praise for his teammates. “This really is a team effort. I was surrounded by my companions throughout the race, they controlled the race so that we could start the last climb in an excellent position. They did perfect work and I am very proud that I could reward this hard work with a victory.”
The Tro-Bro Léon is another race that takes place in the beatiful Finistère region of Brittany. This race is famous for its brutal gravel roads, called “ribinoù”, and it’s a real test of strength and endurance for the riders. The Lotto Dstny team put in another excellent performance, with the team’s riders working hard to help their teammate secure a very close second-place finish. It was a thrilling race and finish, and the team can be proud of their efforts.
In addition to the success of the senior team, the Lotto Dstny development squad also had a weekend to remember.
